SpiceJet to launch Pune-Varanasi and Pune-Chennai flights from March 30 | Business News

SpiceJet has launched direct flights connecting Pune to Varanasi and Chennai. The airline will commence operations on these new routes in a phased manner from March 30 with bookings now open. These flights will be part of the launch of 24 new domestic flights announced on Wednesday.
“With new connections like Pune-Varanasi, our flights ensure seamless connectivity to some of India’s most sought-after destinations,” said Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer at SpiceJet.
The Pune-Varanasi service will operate as per the following schedule:
Pune to Varanasi: Departs at 12.10 pm, arrives at 2.30 pm
Varanasi to Pune: Departs at 3 pm, arrives at 4.55 pm
For those travelling to and from Chennai, the schedule will be as follows:
Chennai to Pune: Departs at 11.10 pm, arrives at 1.15 pm
Pune to Chennai: Departs at 2.05 am, arrives at 4.25 am
Apart from Pune, the airline’s expansion includes new flights linking Ahmedabad to Srinagar and Bengaluru to Goa, as well as introducing three new destinations: Tuticorin, Porbandar and Dehradun. Along with this, Porbandar will also be connected to Mumbai with a non-stop flight operating twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from April 1, 2025.
